Vanada is an excellent guard llama! She was a guard of sheep for 6 years before she started her breeding career and since has produced stunning crias year after year. We have retained her daughter WOL Navi which is the most approachable llama on the farm. Navi was Best in Show as a weanling in fiber and has won numerous titles. Vanada's current cria is NLFC Javelin, sired by GNLC Amico. Javelin is another Black & White paint with excellent silky soft fiber and very stretchy in his neck, legs and the perfect amount of carriage to round him out nicely. Vanada is incredibly smart and watches over the entire herd. Thoughtful outthinking is the only way to catch her, however once caught she is easy to halter and will follow on lead anywhere you take her. Generally we keep her in the cria herd as she is always the last one to the barn at night and the first one out in the morning. We love Vanada's constant working mentality, her incredibly strong topline and pasterns which is attributed to her later breeding career. Vanada is currently ultra sound confirmed bred to OTF Ten's Beretta which we plan to retain if either a male or female as we love everything she produces.
